Know Who's Loved You

When the clock strikes twelve,
And all is said and done,
When the last lights blink off,
Will you know who’s loved you?

When the dusk turns to dark,
And the stars no longer shine,
When time gives its final sigh,
Will you know who’s loved you?

Did you give time to those that matter?
Love to those that lived for it?
Did a smile go with you,
As you went along your way?

Was laughter often with you?
Did you take time to care?
And when you make it there,
Will you know who’s loved you?

When the crowds have come and gone,
And another morning awakens,
When you become a memory,
Will you know who’s loved you?

When your winter has come to pass,
And another spring begins anew,
When the final prayer’s been prayed,
Will you know who’s loved you?

Will they sigh and then walk on?
Laugh at the tales of old?
Will there be one that lingers,
The one who’s loved you?

Will a heart ache when you’re gone?
Will your legacy live on?
Will the one that’s loved you,
Know that you loved her too?
