Lead Me Home

Why does life always have so much confusion,

Things that pull on me from every direction?

No clear way, no sure road to travel on,

Lord, I pray that You’ll lead me on the right road.

Be the lamp that lights my feet all through the night,

Be my friend that comforts me, tells me it’s all right.

Show me that You're here with me, I’m never alone,

And that one of these days, You’ll lead me home.

When my mind grows weary from the cares of life,

So much to do, so little time to do it in,

Give me strength, I need something to ease my mind.

Lord, I pray You’ll give me peace in my soul.

Distractions leave questions, Lord, why can’t life be easy?

So much to think about, nothing is clear any more.

So I turn to your word, I pray,

I hope that you’ll guide my way,

Lord give me strength to go on.

Give me hope, Lord, that you’ll lead me home.

You’ll lead me home!
